Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Group Retreats

Psychedelics have been revered by indigenous peoples for millennia and have been consumed primarily in community or group settings. Group KAP honors the wisdom and practices of the ancestral lineages by emphasizing that healing is relational and profound shifts occur in community.

Group KAP can be an opportunity to work in a relational context for expanded growth and deep connections while simultaneously working with personal goals.

Group KAP is a unique modality with its own benefits and is considered distinct an adjunct to individual KAP.

Our intimate, immersive retreats are closed groups of 6 to 8 participants. All participants are required to be in contact with a mental health provider in order to be eligible for KAP. Our facilitators can provide referrals for supportive, affordable mental healthcare during your consultation.

Each three-night retreat (Friday to Monday) includes two group preparation sessions, two to three dosing sessions, and four integration sessions. Prior to being eligible to attend a retreat, potential participants must compoete a phone consultation and medical screening. An online group preparation session is held prior to the retreat.

Our retreats kick off with a ninety-minute group preparation session. During the preparatory group session, participants will learn to navigate the ketamine experience, share intentions, prepare for integration work, and build cohesion and support among each other.

Dosing sessions are 3 hours each and take place in our facility with up to 7 other group members. The group journeys together in a ceremonial setting with evocative music, eyeshades, and a team of two to three trained facilitators, including a KAP-certified and licensed psychotherapist, are present as guides.

Integration sessions are held at the retreat following each dosing session for 60-90 minutes and are designed for processing your journey and connecting your experiences to your daily life. Other possible activities invoice integration art, yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, sound healing, song circles, guided hypnosis and free time to enjoy the space. Additionally, we can arrange for one-on-one massage and energy healing in advance (at an additional cost).

Continued individual integration sessions are available, as well as a follow-up group online integration session. Processing and integration are key elements in the healing process before and after an individual or group ketamine session. The follow-up group integration session is offered about two weeks after each retreat.
